Hi! My name is George. I've wanted to work in film and television since I was ten, having had an amazing experience on the set of a music video that I acted in. While at school I made short films. These mainly consisted of short skits, films about other hobbies I had like Downhill Mountain Biking, or holiday videos. It was when I started at the University of Manchester that I started taking my interest in filmmaking more seriously and began writing short scripts. I had my first short script made by the filmmaking society and by the time I graduated I had been offered a place at the London Film School on the Filmmaking MA program. Due to financial reasons, I was forced to give up my place before the start of the course but I plan to apply again at the LFS for the Screenwriting MA, the area of filmmaking I am most interested in, in the near future. Being a professional screenwriter is my main career ambition. Before I apply again, however, I hope to gain as much experience in the British film industry as I can.
