I am a creatively driven, resourceful and energetic Production Assistant/Assistant Producer, with experience in handling increased levels of responsibility and working to tight deadlines. I have experience in directing shorts, directing & shooting a feature documentary, interviewing subjects and writing & developing screenplays. I have a good sense go humour and am very down to earth, which makes my communication with clients very easy and allows me to build a rapport with those I work with. I am very comfortable with working alone when necessary, but I mostly enjoy working as part of a team, I believe in team spirit and this fuels me with motivation to do my best. I am constantly developing my own projects on the side and I read the scripts of some of my favourite films. I believe story and the way it is told is the birthplace of great films. I believe the best Producers immerse themselves in the creative aspect as well as the logitical side, so I approach each project with the mind of a storyteller first and foremost. Overall, I have experience in researching topics and contacting sources, organising filming schedules, preparing itineraries, call sheets, transport, accommodation, sourcing props, crew, catering, locations, securing insurance and visa’s for shooting abroad (outside EU), organising and hosting fundraisers, and creating online presence on social media. I did these on my own with little budget. With a production team I can do better and much more! My previous work and references are available upon request.
