I have always had a passion for sound. When unsure of what degree to apply for, I decided to head down the route of the Sciences and applied for Electronic Engineering, but with a focus on Music Technology Systems. It was during this degree, and my module of Audio for Visual Media, that I fell in love with creating sound for film. This then inspired me to apply for a Master's Degree in Post-production Sound Design for TV & Film. Throughout this year, I learnt about location recording, as well as ADR, sound editing and sound mixing. During that year, I put this knowledge into practise, and worked on a few student films as a location recordist, ADR recordist, sound editor and mixer. This further confirmed to me that post-production sound is the industry that I would like to work in.
