THE ART OF EDITING ON LOCATION

July 2017 | Premium Beat

Premium Beats Michael Meher interviews Paul Machliss who editied Edgar Wrights Baby Driver on location ... where ever that may be.

If you're in love with the filmmaking process, you will love this article in Premium Beat.

Edgar Wright and Paul Machliss have worked on numerous projects before Baby Driver, including Scott Pilgrim Vs The World all the way to the classic series Spaced.

So when Wright realized he would need to cut sequences on set for millisecond perfect timing, Machliss found himself setting up shop wherever he was needed; from a low loader on some apple boxes, to a borrowed MagLiner from the Sound Department.

So if you enjoyed Baby Driver and want to find out more about the journey, click here to read the story in full ...
