Trainees and Apprenticeships

Predominantly used in production, trainee and apprenticeship positions allow for on-the-job training.


This experience ensures a first hand understanding of the work. For the highly technical positions in the crew, this is the only realistic alternative to a training course.

Trainees, as the most junior people in their departments, may spend much of their time observing and assisting the more senior people they’re working with. In time, though, they will be able to progress within the department and assume greater responsibility.
